The Chapters |

| So as to remind everyone of the inimitable scents of Gascony , the principal Chapter meetings of the Company have for many years, been celebrated over dinner in Condom. This annual event has become a tradition for the inhabitants of our province to show everyone, young and not so young, that they are united under the motto of the Musketeers : | ||||
| All for One, One for All | ||||
Notable among the Chapters were those that took place at : - Château de Castelmore at Lupiac, birthplace of d’Artagnan. During the evening, 15 ambassadors and many Ministers of State were inducted ; - Flaran Abbey, where members of the Company can rediscover its magnificent Cistercian 12th century architecture. During the events held here a large number of personalities have been inducted, including H.E. Sergent Schriver, U.S. Ambassador to France and more recently, Madame Pamela Harriman ; - Auch, capital of Gascony, which has shown its belief in our cause in the grandiose surroundings of the Monumental Staircase of the Tower of Armagnac at the foot of the statue of d’Artagnan, where the unforgettable Tricentenary Chapter took place in 1973. Condom, with its prestigious cloisters, was chosen to host the Company’s most important annual Chapters. The ancient bishop’s palace of Bossuet, deemed worthy to seal the reunion between Count Bernadotte and the land of his ancestors, and to join in friendship the opposing philosophies of positivism and fantasy within a framework of humanism, has served as a perfect backdrop for the manifestation of friendship between Sweden and France. Condom has also welcomed the representatives of the People’s Republic of China, followed by representatives from Australia, Japan, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Great Britain, the U.S.A., Belgium, Cuba, Russia….
