A report on the 1st Chapter of the European Squadron

The first Chapter of the European Squadron took place on the 16th of October in the famous Gothic Room of the Brussels Town Hall, located in the wonderful and legendary Great Square, a World Mankind Heritage site. The event was presided by Her Royal Highness, Princess Alexandre of Belgium.

Europe Squadron

The 1st Chapter of the Europe Squadron of the Company took place on the 16th of October, presided by Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandre of Belgium.

The ceremony was held in the Brussels Town Hall, that Musketeer Freddy Thielemans, The Burgomaster of Brussels, kindly allowed the Company to use.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of the dynamic Louis Schmitz, Lieutenant-Captain of the New Squadron, and his wife, Musketeer Christine Beckers, and not forgetting Philippe Pirson, Mimi Renier and all the founding Musketeers, 100 guests were present at the official inauguration.

Chapter November 15th, Trowbridge, U.K.

A Private Chapter of the Anglo-Normandy Squadron was held on November 15th, 2010, at the Red and White Restaurant, in Trowbridge, U.K. The evening was organized, as usual, by Musketeer Lieutenant, Mike Williams, M.B.E. 34 Musketeers attended, including 5 French Musketeers, which meant that a capacity attendance was achieved. The British, as is often the case in the U.K., came unaccompanied, but the French contingent included three wives.

Following Casale di Montferrato and Rome, the Italian Squadron brought us to Palermo, headquarters of the Sicilian Platoon, and another event of the highest order.

On the 16th of October, 2010, 150 guests gathered for the 4th Chapter at the Chateau d'Utveggio, situated 346 metres up on a hillside overlooking Palermo, and home of the Centre for Advanced Socio-Economic Studies.

Chapter events in June 2010

An exciting season of events is upon us. June is a particularly active month, with at least 4 Chapters taking place, including:

Chicago, June the 11th. Within the events framework of the 700th anniversary of Armagnac, the BNIA will introduce 4 new Musketeers.

Vic-Fezensac, June the 13th. Two great fencing champions, Frédéric Pietruska and Jean-Claude Magnan, who between them hold no less than 7 Olympic medals (including 2 gold), will be inducted, together with the celebrated trainer, Jean Cottard.

New-York, 18 février 2010

Un Chapitre exceptionnel s'est déroulé à New-York le 18 février dernier à l'occasion du 25è anniversaire de d'Artagnan, la société créée par Ariane Daguin.

A cette occasion, la Compagnie, représentée par Christophe Jankowiak et Sébastien Lacroix, a intronisé 8 nouveaux mousquetaires dont liste :

Chapitre : Escadron Anglo-normand le 24 avril

Le chapitre de l'Escadron Anglo-Normand de la Cie des Mousquetaires d'Armagnac s'est déroulé le 24 avril dans le grand salon du chateau de Longleat House, propriété de Lord Bath.

Ce chapitre a été dédié, en accord avec la famille, à la mémoire de Jean-Pierre GIMET.

Londres 12 avril - Chapitre privé

Dans le cadre des manifestations "2010 - 700 ans d'Armagnac" le B.N.I.A. a organisé un Chapitre privé à Londres le 12 avril 2010. Cinq personnalités ont été intronisées par Sébastien Lacroix, Membre d'Etat Major. Une première occasion de montrer l'oeuvre de Maître Vital-Dufour que ce même B.N.I.A. est allé récupérer au Vatican.
